Soccer 4 results use TAB's six options: 1 = Team A by one goal, 2 = Team A by two or more, 3 = no-score draw (0-0), 4 = score draw, 5 = Team B by one goal, 6 = Team B by two or more. "All" means the match was not completed in time, so every choice counts as correct for that leg.

Soccer 4 is harder to read than the other pools, because each result is one of six options rather than three. The table below explains every number, and we only publish a round when each score produces exactly the option TAB declared.
What do the Soccer 4 numbers 1 to 6 mean?

How to check your Soccer 4 ticket
- Find the pool date and pool label printed on your ticket. TAB runs several Soccer 4 pools on busy days, so the label (for example P1, P2 or P3) and the three-letter program code are what tell them apart.
- Open the matching round above. The newest round is shown first; earlier rounds from the last two pool dates sit underneath.
- Compare your choices leg by leg (M1, M2 and so on) with the winning combination. A leg marked "All" counts as correct whatever you chose.
- Count your correct legs and check the dividend TAB declared for that tier.
- Confirm on TAB before you claim. Our results are for information only.
How Soccer 4 works
Soccer 4 comes from the same stable as Soccer 6 but has two big differences: only four matches, M1 to M4, and six options per match instead of three. You are not just calling the winner, you are calling the winning margin, or whether a draw has goals in it.
The cost and the other rules are the same as Soccer 6. A single entry costs R6, and a multiple entry costs R6 per combination. On a bet slip you mark S4 and then the P1, P2 or P3 box shown with the pool. A match result is the score at the end of the normal 90 minutes plus any injury time. Extra time and penalty shootouts do not count.
What happens when a Soccer 4 match is not played?
Any match in a Soccer 4 pool that is not completed by 9am on the day after the last scheduled match day is treated as abandoned, and every choice counts as correct for that leg. That is what "All" means in the winning combination above.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Soccer 4 option 3 and option 4?+
Both are draws. Option 3 is a no-score draw and only covers 0-0. Option 4 is a score draw and covers any draw with goals, such as 1-1, 2-2 or 3-3. A 0-0 result only pays tickets that chose 3.
How much does Soccer 4 cost?+
The same as Soccer 6: R6 for a single entry with one option per match, and R6 per combination for a multiple entry. With six options in each of four matches, multiple entries add up quickly, so work out the number of combinations before you play.
Does a win by three goals count as option 2?+
Yes. Option 2 is any Team A win by two goals or more, so 2-0, 3-0 and 5-1 are all option 2. Option 6 works the same way for Team B.
