How to check your Soccer 6 ticket
- Find the pool date and pool label printed on your ticket. TAB runs several Soccer 6 pools on busy days, so the label (for example V1 P1 or V2 P2) and the three-letter program code are what tell them apart.
- Open the matching round above. The newest round is shown first; earlier rounds from the last two pool dates sit underneath.
- Compare your choices leg by leg (M1, M2 and so on) with the winning combination. A leg marked "All" counts as correct whatever you chose.
- Count your correct legs and check the dividend TAB declared for that tier.

What do 1, 2 and 3 mean in Soccer 6 results?
TAB soccer pools use their own numbering: 1 means Team A (the team listed first) wins, 2 means a draw, and 3 means Team B wins. This is easy to mix up, because many other coupons and lottery sports pools use 1, X and 2, where 2 means an away win. If you are reading a TAB ticket, 2 is always the draw.
How Soccer 6 works
Soccer 6 is TAB's original soccer pool, launched in 2003. Each pool has six matches, M1 to M6, and you pick a Team A win, a draw or a Team B win for each. PSL and English Premier League matches form the core of the pools, with games from other European leagues, international matches and the UEFA Champions League also used.
A single entry costs R6. With a multiple entry you pick more than one result in some matches, and each combination costs R6, so two choices in one match and one in the other five is two combinations, or R12. On a bet slip you mark S6, then the V and P boxes for the pool you are playing, which TAB shows with each pool. A match result is the score at the end of the normal 90 minutes plus any injury time. Extra time and penalty shootouts do not count.
How the Soccer 6 dividend is worked out
Soccer 6 pays one tier: all six results correct. TAB divides the pool among the winning entries, so the dividend depends on how much was bet on that pool and how many tickets got all six right. A pool full of favourites winning usually pays less, because more people called it.
What happens when a Soccer 6 match is not played?
Any match in a Soccer 6 pool that is not completed by 9am on the day after the last scheduled match day is treated as abandoned, and every choice counts as correct for that leg. That is what "All" means in the winning combination above.

A single Soccer 6 entry, with one choice in each of the six matches, costs R6. A multiple entry costs R6 per combination, and you work out the number of combinations by multiplying the number of choices you made in each match.
When are Soccer 6 payouts declared?+
TAB declares official Soccer 6 payouts once it has the official results of all the matches in the pool, normally the day after the last match. We check several times a day and publish a round once every result agrees with TAB's declared combination.
